Role Overview:
As a Pharmacovigilance Associate at Accenture, you will join our Life Sciences R&D team. Your role will focus on pharmacovigilance, which involves monitoring the safety of drugs and ensuring that any adverse effects are identified and reported. You will work with leading biopharma companies to help them improve patient outcomes by providing accurate and timely safety data. Your tasks will include managing case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, case processing, and follow-ups in the safety database, all while adhering to client guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities of Pharmacovigilance Associate
- Manage the Affiliate Mailbox: You will be responsible for managing the Affiliate Mailbox, ensuring that all incoming reports are handled efficiently.
- Reconcile Reports: You will reconcile reports according to established processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Written Follow-ups: You will perform written follow-ups for both Serious and Non-serious cases to gather additional information and ensure proper documentation.
- Case Identification and Data Entry: You will create and manage case identification, enter data into the safety database, and ensure that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- MedDRA Coding and Case Processing: You will code cases using MedDRA terminology and process them according to client and regulatory guidelines.
- Work as Part of a Team: You will collaborate with your team and follow detailed instructions on all tasks, contributing to the overall success of the project.
- Rotational Shifts: This role may require you to work in rotational shifts to ensure continuous coverage and support.
