As a Senior Clinical Data Scientist I, you will play a key role in developing clinical data management (CM) tools. You will work closely with RbQM leads and other data scientists to enhance our capabilities in clinical studies.
Key Responsibilities of Senior Clinical Data Scientist I
Development and Coordination
- Develop CM Functionalities: Design and implement new standard and study-specific functionalities.
- Project Leadership: Lead and coordinate tasks with other team members to ensure high-quality results.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Be the go-to expert for selected CM functionalities, providing guidance and support to the team.
Technical Skills
- R Programming: Use your expertise in R to gather requirements, program, test, and document CM functionalities.
- Data Mapping: Lead the design and development of data mapping to CM functionalities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with requirements.
- Maintenance and Improvement: Ensure ongoing maintenance of data mapping and study-specific analyses, finding opportunities for improvement.
Collaboration and Training
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with RbQM leads and other data scientists to meet project goals.
- Mentoring: Train and mentor junior staff, helping them grow their skills and expertise.
- Communication: Show excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, to collaborate with team members across different locations.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Degree (BSc/MSc/PhD) in Life Science, Computer Science, or Information Science.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in clinical or scientific settings with a strong foundation in information and knowledge management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in R programming, basic knowledge of SQL, and familiarity with at least one BI platform.
- Life Science and Clinical Studies: Previous experience in these areas is a plus.
