About the Role:
As an Associate Data Manager in the Clinical Data Sciences (CDS) group, which is part of the Global Biometrics and Data Management (GBDM) organization, you will play a key role in managing clinical data for Pfizer’s projects. Your main tasks will be reviewing data and handling queries to ensure the data’s accuracy and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Review and Query Management: As an Associate Data Manager, you will participate in various CDS activities. This includes reviewing data and managing queries to ensure the data collected is accurate and reliable.
- Database Design: Assist in designing quality databases. You will document, test, validate, and implement tools for collecting clinical data. These tools can be electronic data capture (EDC) systems or other data collection systems.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Ensure all work is done according to the applicable SOPs and work practices to maintain high standards.
- Trial Master File (TMF): Ensure that all required study-specific CDS documents are of high quality and filed on time in the TMF. This is crucial for supporting future inspections and submission activities.
- Operational Excellence: Collaborate with Data Managers and CDS team members to apply standards, acquire data, review data proactively, manage queries, clean data, process electronic data, access and visualize data, report DM metrics, release databases, and support submission-related activities.

- Participate in CDS Activities:
- Review data and manage queries efficiently.
- Assist in creating and maintaining high-quality databases.

- Ensure all work is documented, tested, validated, and implemented correctly.
- Ensure Compliance with SOPs:
- Follow all SOPs and work practices.
- Maintain high standards in all tasks.
- Maintain Trial Master File (TMF):
- Ensure all required documents are of high quality.
- File documents on time to support future inspections and submissions.
- Collaborate for Operational Excellence:
- Work with Data Managers and CDS team members to apply standards.
- Acquire and review data proactively.
- Manage queries effectively.
- Clean and process electronic data.
- Access and visualize data for reports.
- Report Data Management (DM) metrics.
- Release databases on time.
- Support submission-related activities.
- Additional Duties:
- Stay updated with the latest tools and technologies in data management.
- Participate in training sessions to improve skills.
- Provide feedback to improve processes and systems.
- Work with other teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data issues.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: A degree in a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in data management or a related area is preferred.
